- Pills, especially cheaper, short-fiber cashmere.
- "Cashmere feel" or "cashmere touch" usually means acrylic or polyester.
- Cheap cashmere is often blended. Check the percentage.

Hand wash cold with a wool wash and lay flat to dry. De-pill with a comb.
